A smart move – brewing Petrus!
The De Brabandere family of brewers has its roots in Flanders and can be traced back to 1420. The family tree has no fewer than four Petruses! It was Albert De Brabandere who gave the name of his forefathers to this divine brew. Smart move on the part of the late master brewer: by naming his beer after Petrus, he was securing his place in heaven after leading an epicurean life.
Real Belgian beer
Every drop of Petrus beer is brewed and bottled in the land of beer. It comes from the De Brabandere Brewery in Bavikhove, western Belgium. In this family-owned local brewery, the fifth generation of brewers pays tribute to the rich Belgian beer tradition with Petrus Blond, Petrus Dubbel and Petrus Tripel.
Petrus Blond
Petrus Blond is a heavenly thirst-quenching beer with a touch of fruitiness. Fine aromatic hops provide a subtle bitterness and a refreshing finish.
Petrus Dubbel
Petrus Dubbel will delight your tastebuds with subtle aromas of coffee, caramel and chocolate. A full-bodied, rich and heavenly flavour.
Petrus Tripel
Petrus Tripel is a complex beer that brings together the best of the past and present. Be carried away by the heavenly fruity aroma and slightly bitter finish. Brewed according to a new recipe with three European aromatic hops. The full secondary fermentation in the bottle gives the beer a refined sparkle in the chalice.
